WESSELMAN WOODS NATURE PRESERVE TRAILS
Wesselman Nature Society holds in public trust lands at the Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve. They manage the 200-acre preserve including a set of trails within the preserve. There are more than four miles of trails maintained within the preserve, allowing trail users to enjoy nature within city limits.

Formed in 1972, the Wesselman Nature Society, a not-for-profit organization, purchased 200 acres of pristine woodlands about three and a half miles from downtown Evansville waterfront area. Over the past almost 50 years, the society has grown their investment to purchase another 35 acres - the Howell Wetlands - and start another venture for nature lovers, Canoe Evansville.
