Over time we will both migrate data  and find new info so as to build this www.indianatrails.com into a new website, controlled by Indiana Trails Community, one of the three groups within the consortium. This group generally promotes people to get out and hike, bike, and use trails. A second group is the Indiana Trails Fund (www.indianatrails.org) which preserves funds, protects land, and enhances communities. A third group is the Hoosier Rails to Trails Council (www.indianatrails.net), which advocates for pro- trail public policies via lobbying and legislation. With these three groups and their websites, we, at Indiana Trails, will build a comprehensive source about rail-trails, rails with trails, trails, routes, trailtowns, bike and ped safety, and related information and policies.
