MARION COUNTY
Marion County is home to the largest city in Indiana, and the home of Indiana State Government. Marion County is the most populous county in the state with a population greater than six states. Marion County is home to two state parks, Fort Harrison State Park and White River State Park. Marion County is home to many amenities for residents and visitors alike; Downtown Canal, Victory Field, Lucas Oil Stadium, Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Indianapolis Zoo, as well as many museums, parks, and memorials. Marion County planners are working to make the county more friendly to those who walk, bike, jog, and use public transportation.
