CLINTON COUNTY

Clinton County is a mostly agricultural county with a history of many railroads choosing to travel through Clinton County.  Frankfort, the county seat, was the home to Nickel Plate Road facilities. The town of Mulberry was named from a mulberry tree that was growing in the area it was founded.  Mulberry is host to the Mulberry Festival on the fourth weekend in June every year.
