Avon Greenways includes Avon Town Hall Park Trails in Avon Town Hall Park, and The Story Walk, connecting Avon Town Hall Park to the Avon Public Library. These trails are well maintained 8 foot wide paths that meander around lakes, a stream, and hilly areas. These trails afford an opportunity to relax in a natural setting in an otherwise suburban location.

If you haven’t been to Avon, Indiana for awhile you have missed a lot of new developments! Just west of Indianapolis, once quoted as America’s fastest growing area, this town has many new beautiful housing developments, restaurants, and many businesses of every diverse nature.
Avon Town Hall has a magnificent park with trails right off of the main drag, U.S. 36 just west of S.R. 247. The park offers playgrounds, lakes, a stream, open areas and woodsy areas, disc golf, picnic tables and park benches, hills and flat areas, and trash receptacles with pet disposable bags.
The trails in Avon Town Hall Park are very smooth and well-maintained 8’ wide asphalt that surround the lakes and hills and border the stream and connect to nice neighborhoods. There is plenty of parking at the town hall. Some areas of the trails are rather hilly and not recommended for wheelchairs. Otherwise, these trails are suitable for all uses.
